Rock wool honeycomb composite panels for marine, rock wool honeycomb panels for ship
Rock wool, also known as mineral wool or stone wool is a type of insulation made from actual stone. It is a new type of thermal insulation, heat insulation and sound absorbing material. Rock wool products has the general characteristics of the rock, also has good performance of waterproof, thermal insulation and has good chemical stability, even in humid conditions, so it will not deliquescent for long-term use. All these good properties makes rock wool widely used in ship buildings.
Yameijia has developed two types of rock wool composite panels, one is aluminum rock wool panel, and the other is rock wool honeycomb composite panels. Rock wool panel is composed of two aluminum sheet on both sides and rock wool in between, while rock wool honeycomb composite panel consists of aluminum honeycomb panels and surface aluminum sheet with rock wool in between. These panels are widely used ship wall building and decoration.
